Read a summary what we did in 2025 and where we're heading in 2026
We are so thankful that the Peace & Justice Center in Burlington, VT has made Compassionate Dining a fiscally sponsored project. This means we can accept donations that are tax deductible as well as apply for more grant opportunities.
So what do we need funding for?
Chamber of Commerce membership: this relationship is opening doors to businesses and providing opportunities for our volunteers to connect with restaurants to increase their plant-based options, which is part of creating a kinder world for animals
Advertising: to entice businesses to partner with Compassionate Dining we are committed to rewarding our partners with marketing that brings in new dollars
Organization: there is no Compassionate Dining without the hard work of volunteers who are planning events, preparing educational materials, meeting with restaurants, maintaining a social media presence, creating flyers & other publicity materials, building relationships with business groups and animal rights groups, and the list goes on and on; we would like to support those generous volunteers with honorariums
Printing of flyers and outreach materials (to individuals & businesses): this supports our efforts to create a vegan-friendly community through vegan education, events, and increasing vegan menu options
Website maintenance: this aids our outreach efforts and let's people know about participating businesses

for the animals, for the planet
